Hey, Hockey fans as many of you know the NHL draft is being held in a couple of weeks in Montreal,Québec. Each week for 4 weeks to show you how picks 1 through 62 will go. Here is begging of my mock draft.

Hey everybody I am in the sunshine state of Flordia and am about to go to a Flordia Everblades ECHL game currently the Everblades are first in ECHL and led by there captain Kevin Baker
Tonights game is against the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Should be agod game! I'll upadate this tonight!

Update 11pm the Everbaldes won 5-2 it was an amazing game in some cases better than a NHL game (please dont critize me) . I had my friend with me who had never been to a hockey game before so it was an experience for us all!!

The BOSTON BRUINS 1st in the Eastern Conforence

As I have said earlier this has been a wierd year. Now who would expect that the Boston Bruins of all teams to lead the Eastern Conference. But I'm sure the return of Patrice Bergeron is big and of course Michael Ryder is always big so people should not under estimate this Boston Bruins team they got alot of fire power. Tim Tomas and Manny Fernandez are just outsanding goaltenders and if they can hold this up they can both be going Montreal in late January!!!

Of what I saw of the injury I am not going say anything. I thought that was nothing, it was just a regular shot going at 70 clicks, [I took one of those this summer... OUCH!!] but I thought it was just a regular shot going in the wrong place.

Jeff Carter a surprise??????

This year the NHL has had a few surprises but one of the biggest surprises I think is Jeff Carter. Jeff is tied for the lead in goals. From my point of view he should be more introduced to the world of the media, well I'm mostly trying to say he is very under rated. The other player that is tied with Jeff in the lead in goals is Tomas Vanek another under rated player [not his salary!!!] who has 15 going into tonight[27/11/2008]. But the sad thing is for Jeff is that he has been mentioned in trade rumors......which could ruin a big career in the making. This year if at this rate Jeff could get 55 goals and nearly double his total in goals from last year.

Ovechkin getting better. But not quite the same?

Alexander Ovechkin started very slow this year scoring 3 goals. Very unlike him. I shall mention, after Ovechkin went back to Russia to see his very ill father [who later died]. When Ovechkin came back to North America he was not quite the same, turning into a passer not a shooter. Again very unlike him. Ovechkin has had 3 goals and 7 assists. GO OVECHKIN GO!!

Hot start for Tomas

This year Tomas Vanek has really earned his 7 million$$$$$$$$ salary. With 12 goals in this early campaigne [ and a not so great 3 assists]. He could pot 60 goals. After being offered a monster contract by the Edmonton Oilers back in the summer of '07 as a RFA the Sabers had to match the offer or they would be as good as gone. The Sabers unloaded 10,000,000 bucks to this guy last year and well he slumped with an under average team. Tomas Vanek will be a Superstar in this league or he will be a bust. Thoughts?

Mats Sundin will be the subject for this week. Now Sundin has been offered many contracts around the league including a jaw dropping 2 year $$$ 20,000,000 [20 million] by the Vancouver Canucks. while teams like Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and NY Rangers, all Stanley Cup contender as you can see [not Toronto!!!!! which was his former team]. It seems that Brain Murry and Eugene Melnyk are very interested in Sundin as said when they met Mats in Sweden while playing over seas. In Toronto they're just waiting, if Sundin does go to Toronto, the Leafs will welcome him, but who would go down to the Marlies or will they have 2 healthy scracthes? Montreal, well I just think it's out of the question now with Robert Lang aquisition. In N.Y. that's just a question of the cap. Where do you think Mats Sundin is going and why?
